To minister to the physical and emotional needs of the disadvantaged and use the opportunity to demonstrate and show the love of God, touch lives and bring people to the knowledge and the saving grace of Christ.
Mission
The Ministry of helps exists to
- To assist members of the church in need of assistance to meet their basic needs.
- To periodically support needy members of the community with basic necessities through established charities / shelters, within our means by distributing nonperishable food stuff, clothing, blankets, towels, toiletries, etc.
- To demonstrate the Love of God through active support and volunteering at shelters, supporting the community in times of natural disasters.
- Help in special programs where necessary such as outreaches, dinners, breakfast meetings, weddings, etc.
Reaching out to church members in times of need. - Working with the Protocol Department to get hotel reservations, special needs and entertainment for guest ministers to ensure guest hospitality.
1 John 3:17-18
If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.
