Your child will laugh, learn, play, explore, grow and feel loved. It is a God-centered, environment which creates a safe, learning, nurturing and loving environment that reflects God’s love and heart for our children.
Vision
To teach the gospel and demonstrate the love of Christ to all children and make them disciples of Christ who will learn to trust, serve and worship Him in their daily living.
Mission
We will partner with the Holy Spirit, volunteers and parents to train, instruct and guide the children in the way they should go and help them to build a strong foundation of faith in Christ that will reflect in their thoughts, words and actions.
We exist to fulfil God’s command:
- To train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6)
- To bring the children up with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord (Ephesians 6:4b)
- To teach the scriptures to our children (Deuteronomy 6:7)
- The scriptures make one wise for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 3:15)
- To go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them all that He has commanded (Matthew 28:19-20); and
- To tell the next generation of His mighty acts so that they might set their hope in Him and not forget His works but keep His commandments (Psalm 78:1-7)
Our core values
- To create a safe, nurturing and loving, God-centered environment that reflects God’s love and heart for our children.
- To communicate our vision and mission clearly and consistently to the whole congregation, especially to parents, volunteers and children.
- To work with each child to teach and disciple in a way that is age-appropriate to meet the needs of the child.
- To cultivate a discipline of the word and prayer that lead to a well-nurtured and well-grounded and faith-filled child.
- To collaborate in partnership with parents and volunteers, and to assist, lead, counsel, support and train them for the purpose of discipling children and building community.
- To commit to do all that we do with purpose, consistency and excellence for the overall development of the child.
